Our New Home

This is our new home! It is a 3 bedroom complex with a washer and dryer hookup. We absolutely love our home!! I will post pictures with it furnished later...

YUMMINESS!

My friend, Ali, posted on her blog about these cookies and how they are now in stores. When I saw her post I freaked and went and got these at Walmart as soon as I could. These cookies are the best! I always looked forward to these when my mom would order them through the girl scouts. They are soooo YUMMY!!! I definitely recommend them.

Haunted..or just plain ol' creepy..

We came across this rundown place when we were putting up yard signs one night. It was creepy because it had a couple of doors wide open and it was just pitch black inside...I was definitely creeped out.

Arizona Weather

These are just pictures that I took from a couple different days from our last days in Arizona before moving up to Utah...Hope you enjoy.

Construction.

I absolutely hate construction. And it seems like Utah always has construction going on.
Since we got here they have been doing construction on State street, which is right where our house is. Although, it will be really nice when it is all done (who knows when that will be though..), but it's just annoying.
BUT! This last Friday they decided to close the road down from about a mile-ish down south from our road to the McDonald's which is just south from that. This was an extra pain for us because our friends live down past the McDonald's. So, instead of it being a 3-5 minute drive (5 minutes, stretching it a little), it was a 10 minute drive, sometimes even longer. We had to make this drive a few times this past weekend...it got old really fast (say, like the first time we did it..). But, last night, when we were driving home from one of our friends house [that was south of the McDonalds], the road was open and it was only a few minute drive instead of the 10 minute drive!! And we were so happy! Especially me. I was very relieved that it was only a weekend thing (which we hoped and pretty much figured). So, now I am not so annoyed with the construction anymore because I realize...
it can be worse.

Hiking Trip

Today Kyle and I and Forrest and Melissa went hiking up to Stuart Falls (I believe that is the name of it). We started the hike at about 4:30 ish (possibly 5pm) and got done at about 7:30pm. It was a blast, and such a great work out! I know I definitely needed it. The hike is about an hour and a half there and back. But once we got to the falls we hung around, took pictures, and hiked around and up the falls. It was so pretty up there! It was later in the day, so the sun wasn't shining over on that side of the mountain, so it made it pretty cold for us..pretty much for the whole time we were there and all the way home. I took a lot of pictures, but I am not able to post them now because of the stupid internet, but I do hope to post them when I am able to. When I do post them I hope to have more info about the awesome adventure....for, it was adventurous! Anyway, on the way back we all stopped at J-Doggs for some oh so delicious hot dogs for din din and brought them back to our house to eat. Now we will be watching Star Trek (the 2009 version) while eating yummy popcorn :) For now...tootles!

Stupid internet.

Sooo....the internet is being lame. It's not working really well. And it won't let me upload my pictures. So...you will just have to wait another week until we get comcast. Sorry :(
But! You can check out my other blog (ctr89.blogspot.com) to see what I have been posting!
Hope life is awesome :)

A Quick Story...

Okay, so before the story, let me give you an update on Kyle and I....We are in Utah now and we absolutely love our place! It is really nice! School is going well for Kyle..a couple of his classes are scattered in the day, but not too bad. I have been on the search for a job, and I am waiting for a call from 'RISE'..that is the one that I hope I get. *crossing fingers* Prayers would be nice right now, if you don't mind. But, that is pretty much it for right now. Now for the story.....
Hope you enjoy :)

A mechanic was removing a cylinder head from the motor of a
Dodge SRT-4 when he spotted a well-known cardiologist in his shop, who
was waiting for the service manager to take a look at his car. The
mechanic shouted across the garage, 'Hey Doc, want to take a look at
this?' The cardiologist, a bit surprised, walked over to where the
mechanic was working on the SRT.

The mechanic straightened up, wiped his hands on a rag, and
asked, 'So, Doc, look at this engine. I open its heart, take the valves
out, repair any damage, and then put them back in, and when I finish, it
works just like new. So how come I make $39,675 a year, a pretty small
salary, and you get the really big bucks, $1,695,759, when you and I are
doing basically the same work?' The cardiologist paused, smiled, and
leaned over, then whispered to the mechanic,
'Try doing it with the engine running.'
